📖 How to Program Your Xfinity Remote
Method 1: Using Remote Codes (Recommended)
- Turn on your TV. Ensure it is powered on manually or with its original remote.
- Press and hold the Setup button until the LED on the top of the remote changes from red to green.
- Press 9-9-1 on the keypad. The LED should flash green twice.
- Enter the first 5-digit code for your TV brand from the table above.
- If successful, the LED will flash green twice. If the LED flashes red, the code was not recognized—try the next code.
- Test the remote by pressing the Power and Volume buttons to confirm it controls your TV.
Method 2: Auto Code Search (If codes above don't work)
Use this method if none of the codes in our table work for your specific TV model.
- Turn on your TV.
- Press and hold the Setup button until the LED changes from red to green.
- Press 9-9-1.
- Press the Channel Up button repeatedly until your TV turns off.
- Once the TV turns off, press Setup to save the code.
- Turn your TV back on and test the volume and input buttons.
