We are a small family business from New Jersey. Our ProTechTrader mission is two-fold: teach and provide. We are dedicated to teaching the basics of electronics D.I.Y. through resources and service. As a small private business, we pride ourselves on service that is personal and tailored to your specific needs. We are also dedicated to providing the sort of electronic components that are not always easily available

Our journey as a business has continued for over a decade. We owe much of our success to Mr. Charles Platt and his wonderful book series “Make: Electronics” and its counterparts. We are proud to work alongside Mr. Platt to provide finished component kits to complete the experiments in his texts. Each kit is hand-sorted and prepared to aid the student in learning about electronics with Charles’ instruction.
