Welcome to ProTechTrader! We are a small, family-owned business operating out of Pine Hill, New Jersey. For over a decade, we've had a simple but passionate mission: to teach and to provide.

Our journey started when we noticed how difficult it was for aspiring makers and students to find the exact parts needed to follow along with educational electronics guides. Sourcing individual resistors, specific capacitors, and delicate integrated circuits from multiple overseas suppliers was a headache. We wanted to make hands-on learning stress-free, so we set up our own workbench, hand-sorting every part to build complete, matched kits.

We owe a huge portion of our business's growth and reputation to our official partnership with Mr. Charles Platt, the best-selling author of the renowned Make: Electronics book series. When Charles set out to write the books that revolutionized how experiential electronics is taught, we collaborated directly with him to build official component packs.

Every resistor, capacitor, LED, and chip in our kits is hand-sorted and packaged in our New Jersey facility, ensuring that students, makerspaces, and schools receive exactly what is needed for a successful learning experience.
